Just got home from meeting up with Paul North of Merrill on Tug Lake Avenue near the Tug Lake Recreation Area. He is bone tired. Lucky for him he is in a bed tonight. He will have his first companion of the Walk for Manitou tomorrow morning. His cousin's husband Nate will be joining him for Saturday and Sunday. Nate is a surveyor in real life so there should be no chance of losing the trail.
